A NOTE OF GRATITUDE
A note of gratitude as you navigate my site and my work. None of this was done alone AND everything is better because of those I collaborated with. Much of my scholarly work involves students and I do what I do because of the power of mentorship. My colleagues have become treasured friends because of the work we do together and the community we build. I know this is related to values of co-mentoring flattening power and opening up to the vulnerability to feedback and critique with kindness and care. The most effective and rewarding collaborations leave fear and ego checked at the door. Thank you to all my collaborators - students, colleagues, friends, and family.
